Shatta Wale kneels before Mahama again [Video]

Ghanaian dancehall star Shatta Wale has once again knelt before former President John Dramani Mahama, seeking forgiveness for his past actions.

Shatta Wale apologized for his public rants against the NDC, which had strained their relationship.

In a warm response, Mahama told him, “Oh, it’s nothing, you’re my son, and I hold nothing against you.”

Shatta Wale shared that through Mahama, he was able to buy his first house, which he said was a significant gesture that he could never forget, adding that he could never be ungrateful to him.

Mahama, in turn, promised to speak to some party executives whom Shatta Wale may have offended in the past and plead on his behalf.

Shatta Wale was once a favorite of Mahama and the NDC until he publicly warned the party to stop using his songs for their campaigns, rallies, and political events.

The misunderstanding began when the NDC assumed his song, “Mahama Paper,” was an endorsement of the former president.

Shatta Wale, however, was quick to clarify his neutral political stance, demanding payment for any official use of his song.
