Shatta Wale was the big name that was visibly missing at award-winning rapper, Sarkodie’s “This Is Tema” free concert over the weekend.
The concert, which had a number of A-list artistes such as Edem, Stonebwoy, Medikal, Strongman among other top acts attending, has also made the news for other reasons including Shatta’s refusal to grace it.

Many music lovers expected the dancehall king to be present as considering the fact that he and Sarkodie have been allies for years and have had many collaborations which have turned out to be hit songs.
Unfortunately, the duo have fallen out for what many industry watchers believe is due to Sarkodie’s “Advice” song which has gotten Shatta to describe the former as a broke hypocrite.
When asked why he didn’t make an effort to grace Sarkodie’s show, Shatta said he was not invited.

According to him, on the day of the event, he was busy shooting music videos for songs off his latest Wonder Boy album.
“It’s because I wasn’t invited and I was shooting my videos too,” he told the host.
