Several shops in Kasoa on fire

-

A fire broke out on Monday evening at Ghana Flag Junction in Kasoa, destroying several shops.

The blaze, which started around 5:30 p.m., has affected multiple structures along the Kasoa-Obom road, including carpentry shops and drinking spots.

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) responded promptly and is working tirelessly to contain the fire.

While no casualties have been reported, the fire has caused significant property damage, with losses estimated in the tens of thousands of cedis.

Residents are concerned, as the area is surrounded by power lines and is near two filling stations.

Despite these risks, GNFS officials are making progress in extinguishing the flames.
