The Volta Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. James Gunu, has urged appointees under the John Dramani Mahama administration to serve with humility to support the party’s vision of building “The Ghana We Want.”
Speaking in an interview with Adom News, Mr. Gunu emphasized that serving in the NDC government is an opportunity to work hard and drive transformation at the constituency, regional, and national levels.
“Ghanaians have placed their trust in the leadership of the NDC. We cannot afford to disappoint them,” he stated, calling on all appointees to approach their roles with dedication and humility.
Mr. Gunu also appealed to Voltarians to rally behind the NDC, highlighting that the region has historically benefited from substantial development under the party’s leadership.
Additionally, he encouraged Ghanaian women to support the NDC, especially with the historic inclusion of Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as Vice Presidential candidate.
He assured women that promises such as the Women’s Development Bank and other initiatives made during the 2024 campaign would be fulfilled under the Mahama-led administration.
“We must work together to achieve the goals of the NDC and make a lasting impact,” Mr. Gunu concluded.
