Asante Kotoko defender, Augustine Sefah believes lessons from their opening Group C game against Al Hilal in the CAF Confederations Cup will guide them to qualify to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Kotoko conceded on the 40th minute at the Al Hilal Stadium in Sudan.
Augustine told Oyerepa FM that, they have realized their mistakes after their 1-0 defeat so going forward, they will need all the 9 points in their three home games to make the battle easy for qualification.
“We have a game at home against Zesco United which we will definitely have to win. We need to record 100 percent at home and try to win one away game to help us progress from the group. I am assuring the supporters that we will definitely do everything to qualify, “he said.
“We did not have the best of results but there are five more games to play so we will qualify,” Sefah told Oyerepa FM.” He added.
ZESCO United are on top of the group with three points plus two goals, Al-Hilal is second with three points plus one goal, Kotoko is third with zero points minus 1 goal while Nkana FC lies bottom with Zero points minus two goals.
