Rapper Strongman says it took a long time for Sarkodie to finalise the decision to part ways with him.
According to him, though it was a conscious decision, Sarkodie didn’t want him to leave, hence they spoke for about six hours on phone on the possibility of extending the contract.
Strongman explained that he wouldn’t have parted ways with Sarkodie’s music label but most Ghanaians were failing to see his efforts in songs he released under him.

“People were giving me problems. I was even worried for Sarkodie. Under him people didn’t give me the glory. They were bashing Sarkodie too much. We talked about six hours on phone when I was about leaving the label. He agreed and thought If we keep the relationship like father and son it would help,” he said on the Delay show.
