Sammy Gyamfi mocks Bawumia’s campaign [Listen]

-

The National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has downplayed the effectiveness of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia‘s campaign.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, Sammy Gyamfi said polls and the people are key when it comes to elections and so far, all these elements are in favour of the NDC.

However, Dr Bawumia and his team according to Sammy Gyamfi are struggling with messages that resonate with Ghanaians.

He said they haven’t even been able to compose a compelling campaign song with just a few months to the December 7 election.

“Can you even talk about three central messages from Bawumia’s campaign? They can’t even compose a song except for King Paluta’s which they keep playing everywhere. He has no solid policy for even job creation.

“But look at Mahama’s song even on the 24-hour economy policy; Mahama talks about national entrepreneurship programme, women’s bank, free academic fees among other social intervention policies,” he stated.

Mr Gyamfi added he is convinced beyond reasonable doubts that the NDC will emerge victorious on December 7.
