Sammy Gyamfi accuses NPP of propaganda and election disruption

The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has accused the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of engaging in propaganda and inciting unrest during the ongoing elections.

Addressing a press conference on Saturday, December 7, Mr. Gyamfi claimed the NPP is deploying desperate tactics as they face potential defeat, including spreading false information to mislead voters and discredit the NDC.

“The NPP knows they are losing this election. Out of desperation, they have resorted to lies, propaganda, and inciting their hooligans to cause mayhem,” he alleged.

Mr. Gyamfi urged Ghanaians to remain vigilant and not be swayed by what he described as baseless claims intended to manipulate public perception and disrupt the electoral process.

He reiterated the NDC’s commitment to ensuring a peaceful and credible election while encouraging voters to stay focused on exercising their civic duty responsibly.

“We call on all Ghanaians to ignore the lies of the NPP and continue voting peacefully. The NDC remains committed to safeguarding the integrity of this election,” he stated.
