Renowned Accra-based radio presenter Nana Romeo has filed a legal suit against Sally Frimpong Mann over alleged defamatory remarks made during a live broadcast on December 14, 2024.
Through his legal team, Nana Romeo accused Sally Mann of falsely claiming that he had been convicted of rape and portraying him as deceitful.
He asserts these statements have tarnished his reputation, caused public ridicule, and led to a loss of goodwill.
The legal notice also implicates Power FM and the show’s host for providing the platform where the statements were made.
Nana Romeo demands a full retraction and a public apology from Sally Mann within 72 hours.
The apology must be aired on Power FM and published across all social media platforms.
He also requests the removal of all shared content related to the allegations.
