Rihanna 'wants to get together' with Chris Brown, make 'peace' is made-up story

-

A website claiming Rihanna “wants to get together” with Chris Brown and make “peace” should really get its own act together. Not only was this tale made-up, but it actually contradicts a previous report. Gossip Cop can bust the fake news.
On February 20, HollywoodLife tried to capitalize on Brown wishing Rihanna a “happy birthday” by purporting to know her reaction to his Instagram post.
Its piece about how Rihanna “really feels” about Brown “name checking her” was indisputably negative. A so-called “insider” was quoted as saying, “Rihanna has really gotten to the point where she’s just tired of the whole Chris Brown thing.”
This alleged tipster went on to claim, “As far as Rihanna is concerned, that period of her life is now firmly in the past.”
Now exactly one week later, on February 27, the site is offering a completely different narrative that is decidedly positive. Titled, “Rihanna Still Has A Special Place In Her Heart For Chris Brown:
She Wants To Get Together With Him,” this new article claims to have “EXCLUSIVE details” on how the songstress wants to “make peace” with her controversial ex. Here, a purported “source” asserts, “She feels like her story with Chris is not done yet and the pair still have some unfinished business… They do stay in contact and she is thinking about meeting up with Chris for dinner.”
Consider this comparison: “She really wants that chapter in her life to be closed for once and for all, and for everyone to just move on” versus “Rihanna would love to clear the air with Chris. She has always had a special place for him in her heart and, if they can start over, she would love to work with him in the studio again too.” These claims are in direct opposition with each other. What explains the outlet going from one end of the spectrum to the other in seven days’ time?
Well, on February 21, Us Weekly reported that Rihanna and Brown “talk all the time.” HollywoodLies, as the blog is nicknamed, picked up that report and regurgitated it, despite alleging the day before that Rihanna was done with him. And then it went even further by concocting this latest story about keeping in touch and hanging out.
This supports exactly what Gossip Cop said after the original made-up story, about Rihanna’s reaction to Brown’s birthday wish, was published.
We noted then that no one genuinely connected to Rihanna shares her feelings with HollywoodLies, which is why the “site constantly changes course and desperately tries to exploit hot topics without regard for consistency and accuracy.”
The online publication just proved us right. It abruptly changed course in an attempt to capitalize on the Us Weekly article, showing no concern for logic or the truth.
If HollywoodLies really had “sources” and “insiders” as it claims, it would be able to present a credible narrative. Instead, it just gives readers whiplash and exposes itself as clueless.
