REVEALED: NAM 1 had plans to donate pickups to each Premier League team

Former player and Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei has disclosed that owner of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah, had plans to improve the Ghana Premier League by giving the premier league teams 16 pickups in addition to the sponsorship package.

NAM 1 signed a $10 million sponsorship deal with the GFA to sponsor Ghana Premier League for 5 years, making Zylofon Cash the current headline sponsors of Ghana’s top flight league.

Speaking on the Ultimate sports show, Micheal Osei, now head coach of Star Madrid revealed that Nana Appiah Mensah, aside from the cash, wanted to give all 16 clubs pick up vehicles.

He also revealed that the Menzgold boss also had plans to give some buses later as add-ons.

He further pleaded with the government of Ghana to allow the young businessman to work in peace and in the long run help improve the game in Ghana.

Nana Appiah Mensah wanted to give pick-ups and buses to all the 16 Premier League clubs as well as cameras so they could be able to capture their training sessions and make them available to the media as part of efforts to promote the league”, he said.

“The government should encourage Nana Appiah Mensah and his business because he is ready to help the game in Ghana”, he added.

Micheal Osei resigned from Premier League side, Liberty Professionals to join Division One Side, Star Madrid after failed with Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
