Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Alhaji Mustapha Abdul Hamid, has called on Imams and Muslim Chiefs in Asunafo South, Ahafo Region, to retain the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in power in the upcoming December polls, citing the party’s beneficial policies.

During an interaction with Imams and Muslim Chiefs in Kukuom and Sankore, Hamid emphasized that the NPP under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is the best political party for Ghanaians.

He highlighted key programs introduced by the NPP, such as the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), School Feeding, Free Education, and the Capitation Grant, as evidence of the party’s commitment to the welfare of all citizens.

He assured that there are more developmental plans in place and a vote for the Bawumia-led NPP is the surest way.

Frank Aduse Poku, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asunafo South and NPP Parliamentary Candidate, also addressed concerns about election violence.

He assured the community that security would be enhanced to prevent any form of violence in this year’s elections, urging Imams and Muslim Chiefs to reject politicians who incite violence.
