Deputy National Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kamal Deen Abdulai, says the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not an alternative for Ghanaians.
According to him, the hypocrisy on the part of the NDC and the u-turn made on the referendum clearly depicts they don’t love Ghana.
“They are so hypocritical about this matter that they don’t love Ghana’s movement, they don’t want the unity we need to move on as a country.

“The NDC’s last minute change of mind about the referendum doesn’t really make sense because their reasons are petty. This means they are not truthful as a political party. At this point they have proven they can’t be an alternative for Ghana,” he said on UTV, monitored by Adomonline.com.
He further said amending the constitution deserves a national cohesion that is why there is a need for a referendum, adding that partisan politics is already practiced at the local level.

“The partisan politics they (NDC) claim we are promoting is already happening there just that it hasn’t manifested.
“We have brought to ourselves a multi-party democratic dispensation which allows us to make the same election pattern flow from the top to the bottom,” he added.
