Head Coach of Black of Princesses, Yusif Basigi, is beaming with confidence ahead of their 2018 under-20 World Cup qualifier against Kenya.
Kenya saw off Ethiopia to advance to the second round of qualifiers while Ghana on the other hand eliminated Algeria on a 10-0 aggregate score to progress to the next stage.
According to Basigi, he and his girls have developed solid strategies to stop the Kenyans from hitting the back of the net.
“The kind of videos I have watched gives me a fair idea of what the Kenyan team is all about. Per what I have seen they are a good side, their starting lineup is very good so we have also developed strategies to stop them”, he said in a phone interview on the SportNite show on Asmepa FM.
“However, we are also very prepared and set to face them at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday”.
“We must go to the World Cup, but we can only be a part of the competition when we qualify so we have to work extra hard to make that happen”
Ghana is chasing a fifth successive FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup appearance.
