Liverpool star, Mohamed Salah, on Saturday, December 8, showed a class gesture after helping his side demolish Bournemouth 4-0 at Vitality stadium.

The Egyptian star bagged a brilliant hat-trick away from home to take Liverpool to the top of the table with 42 points.

Salah’s sensational match-winning performance saw him awarded the Man of the Match prize which he turned down.

The forward instead handed the award to Liverpool captain, James Milner, to mark his 500th Premier League appearance.

Speaking in his post-match interview with Sky Sports after the win, Salah told Milner to keep the award as he paid tribute to his captain’s terrific milestone.

“I will not take this award today. I want to congratulate him (James Milner) on his amazing career,” the former Chelsea forward was quoted saying.

Salah’s class act did not go unnoticed as fans took to social media to laud him for his selfless gesture.

Salah having helped his side to a famous victory over Bournemouth, Liverpool now sit top of the Premier League standings with 42 points, one more than second-placed Manchester City who lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
