General Manager of Berekum Chelsea Football Club, Nana Oduro Sarfo, has ruled himself out of the race for the Ghana Football Association Vice President position.

Personalities such as Nana Oduro Sarfo, Randy Abbey, Samuel Anim Addo, Toni Aubynn who are on the Executive Council have been linked to the position.

In an interview on Asempa FM, however, Mr Sarfo revealed he is not interested in becoming President Kurt Okraku’s veep.

“I will not contest for the Ghana Football Association Vice President position,” he told Kwadwo Mensah Moshosho.

“Randy Abbey, George Amoako, Dr Toni Aubyn and Mark Addo are my top four contestants for the Vice President position.

“I have been lobbied by almost everybody but I’m not in a rush to decide because I want to make the right decision,” he said.

The 12-member Executive Council will elect a new person to be the deputy for Mr Okraku on November 5.
