The Kronkohemaa of Asante Mampong, Nana Akua Aboagyewaa Kente has cautioned the Minority in Parliament to immediately apologize to the new MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan over the ‘bloody widow’ comment.
According to Kronkohemaa, Madam Lydia Alhassan needs to be commended for her boldness following her husband’s death instead of being chastised by the Minority.
“Widowhood is not a crime and so what Seyram did shows she is a bold woman. Considering her situation, yet decided to vie for the position to continue her husband’s good works.”
