Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has returned to training following a successful surgery.
The former WAFA manager had been on leave due to illness after the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season ended.
During his absence, assistant coach David Ocloo took charge and led the team to victory in the inaugural Democracy Cup, with a 2-1 win over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium last month.
Now back at the helm, Narteh Ogum is preparing Asante Kotoko for the upcoming season, which begins on September 6.
The team and coaching staff welcomed his return with enthusiasm.

Entering his third season with the club, Narteh Ogum aims to impress fans with attractive football and secure a trophy.
Asante Kotoko will start their 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign with an away match against Karela United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
