Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has praised his players for their impressive performance in their 4-1 victory over Vision FC.
The Porcupine Warriors triumphed over the debutant side in their Matchday 17 clash at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
In his post-match comments, Ogum expressed pride in the team’s display, highlighting their offensive play.
“I want to congratulate the players for their outstanding performance. I’m so proud of them. We saw a lot of offensive patterns of play, which are replicas of what we’ve been doing in training,” Narteh Ogum said.
“The players are transferring what we do in training into matches. They did it with ease, leading to the creation of many chances. With better composure, the scoreline could have been an avalanche of goals, but scoring four is fine. It’s the maximum points we want,” he added.
Asante Kotoko ended the first half of the Ghana Premier League season in third place with 31 points, just two points behind leaders Bibiani Goldstars.
Prosper Narteh Ogum and his charges will hope to maintain their impressive performance when they host struggling Karela United in their Matchday 18 fixture at Baba Yara Stadium.
