Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has assured fans that his team is physically and tactically prepared for their upcoming clash against Legon Cities.
The Porcupine Warriors will face the Royals in a Matchday 23 fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off set for 15:00 GMT.
Reflecting on their previous encounter, where Kotoko suffered a defeat to Legon Cities, Narteh Ogum stressed his team’s determination to secure all three points this time around.
“We are going into the game with a very confident and determined approach because they were the very first team that defeated us in the first round, and after that, we lost three more games,” he said.
“Tactically, we have done a lot to make sure that on Sunday, we play strongly and very aggressively to make sure we get the three points.
“Physically, we are in good shape, and tactically, we are in good shape, so we are ready,” he added.
This match marks Kotoko’s return to the pitch following the tragic passing of their supporter, Francis Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley.
