Dean of Studies and Research at the Institute of Local Government Studies, Dr. Eric Oduro Osae, has urged Special Prosecutor nominee, Martin Amidu to do his work dispassionately devoid of prejudice.
According to him, the fight against corruption is not about personal vendetta thus Mr. Amidu must demonstrate neutrality in the discharge of his duties.

His call follows the nine-hour-long vetting of Martin Amidu by the Appointment Committee of Parliament on Tuesday.
He asserts that Mr Amidu proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is well prepared to retrieve stolen monies for the state.

But many are skeptical about the neutrality of the former Attorney General popularly known as Citizen Vigilante saying they believe he will haunt appointees of the Mahama government.
But Dr. Oduro Osae on Dwaso Nsem said he was convinced Martin Amidu is a super lawyer who will not compromise on his neutrality.

He maintained that, the anti-corruption campaigner left an inerasable impression in the minds of Ghanaians during the vetting thus it will be difficult for him [Amidu] to be bias.
The Local Government expert called on Martin Amidu to prosecute and not persecute people perceived as corrupt.
Dr. Oduro Osae also admonished government to appoint an unbiased deputy and staff to enable Mr. Amidu execute his job effectively.
