Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has made a passionate appeal to former President John Dramani Mahama for a political appointment, citing his unwavering support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the upcoming elections.
In a recent open statement on Adom FM’s Work and Happiness, hosted by OPD, Prophet Kumchacha expressed his desire to be appointed to a leadership role overseeing religious affairs in the country.
“I don’t know any prophet who has worked harder for the NDC than I have. If the President wants to appoint me, I welcome it,” he said.
“I’ve always advocated for the creation of a regulatory body for pastors. Some are tarnishing the image of the pastoral calling. I want to be the head of all prophets in Ghana.”
The outspoken preacher also urged President Mahama to continue supporting the welfare of Ghanaians, emphasizing the need for structures that promote accountability within the religious community.
