The National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to begin the second phase of her campaign tour in the Western Region on Tuesday.
The three-day tour will see her visiting key constituencies including Ellembelle, Evalue Ajomoro Gwira, Amenfi Central, Amenfi East, Prestea Huni Valley, and Wassa East.
This phase follows her earlier tour of parts of the Western Region, which commenced on September 3, 2024, and focused on constituencies where the NDC does not currently have sitting Members of Parliament.
Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s latest tour aims to consolidate the party’s efforts as they strive to secure victory in the 2024 elections.
During her visit, she is expected to engage with various groups including market women, traders, and commercial drivers, as the NDC intensifies its campaign to win the hearts of voters in the region.
The party remains confident of its chances, positioning itself as the solution to what it describes as the governing New Patriotic Party’s mismanagement of the country.
