Prisca Sedinam appointed Deputy CEO of Youth Employment Agency

-

Prisca Sedinam Kekeshie has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), overseeing Finance and Administration.

With 13 years of experience at the agency, Prisca brings extensive expertise to her new role.

She is expected to work closely with the newly appointed Acting CEO, Malik Basintale, to advance the agency’s mission of creating sustainable employment opportunities for Ghanaian youth.

Her appointment follows the recent leadership change at YEA, after President John Dramani Mahama named Malik Basintale as Acting CEO.

This change followed the resignation of Kofi Baah Agyepong, who officially stepped down on January 24, 2025, citing personal commitments.

In his resignation letter, Agyepong expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and wished the agency continued success.

His departure marks a transition for YEA, with Basintale and Prisca now leading efforts to enhance youth employment initiatives.

Prisca’s experience and leadership are expected to play a key role in driving the agency’s financial and administrative strategies, ensuring efficiency in its operations.

Her appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen the agency’s management as it navigates this crucial period under the Mahama-led government.
