Prince David Osei incurs wrath of Ghanaians over comments on Mahama’s administration

-

Prince David Osei has come under heavy criticism following a controversial remark about former President John Mahama’s administration.

In a post that sparked outrage, the actor sarcastically questioned whether Ghanaians were enjoying Mahama’s leadership, suggesting the country now had “milk and honey,” 24/7 electricity, and thriving businesses as expected.

His comments did not sit well with many, who accused him of hypocrisy, given his strong support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the 2020 elections.

Critics reminded him that he actively campaigned against Mahama’s return to power and supported the Akufo-Addo-led government, which many now describe as underperforming.

Following the backlash, Prince David Osei attempted to clarify his remarks, claiming they were meant as humor.

Despite his explanation, many social media users were not convinced, accusing him of deliberately stirring political controversy, as he has done in the past.
