Acting moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev Dr Victor Oko Abbey, says he has not been pleased with the governance of Ghana for a very long time.
According to him, Ghana has failed to use her blessed natural resources to develop its people and country.
He said most politicians are into governance just to make money for themselves and cronies, a situation he says has kept Ghana impoverished.

He charged Ghanaians to speak out when they identify any wrongs in the spirit of the president’s advice that we should “be citizens, not spectators”.
Rev. Dr Victor Oko Abbey made the disclosure to Maxwell Kudekor on the sideline of the 18th General Assembly of the Presbyterian church of Ghana held at Akropong.

Rev Dr Victor Oko Abbey supports governments double track system and the free SHS policy but wants the government to listen to all criticism and take the most useful ones to better the policy.
On the recent merger and dissolving of some banks by the Bank of Ghana and involvement of some clergymen in the brouhaha, Rev Dr Oko Abbey tasked leadership of the country to apply the laws devoid of discrimination.

He says anyone who disregards the law and does not execute his/her mandate as the law prescribes must not be spared.
