You pollute the air when you say Kotoko cannot perform in Africa- Obed Acheampong

Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko, Obed Acheampong, says the club’s poor showing against Dreams FC in the GHALCA G8 tournament is not enough bases to conclude that the CAF Confederations Cup representatives will fail in the pursuit of their continental quest for glory.
Accepting that a lot more needs to be done for a result-oriented club like Kotoko ahead of the African assignment in less than a month, he took consolation in the club’s last game against Aduana stars, noting that it is an indication for success on the continent.

“It was wrong to say Asante Kotoko cannot perform well after losing to Dreams FC; as much as ten new players were introduced to give them the exposure and also help the coach to know their strengths and weaknesses ahead of the league”, Obed explained.
“It is polluting the air to say Kotoko cannot perform in Africa based on this pre-season tournament; we are preparing well match after match, going into the Confederations Cup games”, he added.
