For a smooth celebration of this year’s Edul Mubarack holiday the Ghana police service says it has outlined some plans to ensure that the holiday is celebrated without any incident.
In the past these celebrations have been marred with incidents due to indiscriminate riding of motor bikes and other activities that lead to vehicular and motor accidents.
It is on the back of this that the Ghana police says it has put stringent measures in place to ensure that the Edul Mubarak is celebrated without hitches.
Public relations officer of the Ghana Police Service DSP Sheila Kesse Abayie-Buckman asked the general public and Muslims in particular, to ensure that this year’s feast of Eid-Fitr, is celebrated peacefully.
She cautioned the youth to desist from reckless acts such as riding unregistered motor bikes and offensive driving of cars.
DSP Sheila Kesse Abayie-Buckman said police personnel would be deployed throughout the country, to ensure that unlawful behavior is prevented.
