The Ghana Police Service has vehemently dismissed claims of militia training in Bawku in the Upper East region.
The Police said it thoroughly investigated the claims circulating in recent publications and they are entirely baseless.
In a post on social media, the Service said they are working diligently to identify and bring to justice those responsible for these false reports.
The statement further reaffirmed the Service’s commitment to maintaining peace and security in the region and condemned the spread of false information.
This follows similar claims about militia training in Kwahu a few days ago.
