The Ghana Police have arrested three individuals suspected of being part of a car-snatching syndicate, successfully recovering three stolen vehicles, including a Mercedes-Benz C300 believed to be owned by the road manager of popular musician Stonebwoy.
The vehicle was stolen in East Legon shortly after Stonebwoy had left the manager and a friend.
The arrests were made through a series of coordinated operations in Accra, Takoradi, and Tamale, following police intelligence.
Remarkably, all three vehicles, initially stolen in Accra, were found in Tamale.

The suspects, identified as Isaac Brena Eshun, Peter Amuzu, and Ibrahim Mohammed, were apprehended between August 21st and 24th, 2024.
In addition to the Mercedes-Benz C300, the police recovered two iPhones, a Mercedes-Benz C180, and three other vehicles believed to have been obtained through illegal means.
The investigation has revealed that the suspects are part of a larger criminal syndicate involved in the robbery and sale of stolen vehicles across the country.
All three suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with further investigations into the syndicate’s operations.
Meanwhile, the police continue to pursue leads to dismantle the network and bring all those involved to justice.
