Planned Parenthood has launched a vicious attack on rapper T.I. for trying to check on his daughter’s virginity.
The rapper, 39, caused a stir when he claimed he joins his daughter Deyjah, now 18, to her gynaecologist appointments to check if she’s a virgin.
T.I. made the controversial comments on the ‘Ladies Like Us’ podcast as he laid out the reasons why it was important his daughter hadn’t had sex yet, despite his son King, 15, being sexually active.

Planned Parenthood slammed the musician for his ignorance that virginity is a social construct and has nothing to do with a hymen being intact.
In a montage of tweets, the healthcare provider hit out at the controversial comments made by the chart-topper.
The first post got 17.9K shares and 50.8K likes from social media.
The tweet read: “Idk who needs to hear this but virginity is a made-up social construct, and it has absolutely nothing to do with your hymen.

“A virgin is someone who’s never had sex. But ‘sex’ means different things to different people, so ‘virginity’ does too. Many don’t care what it means or think it matters. Whatever you believe, the fact is you can’t tell if someone’s had sex by checking their hymen,” it said.
The organisation gave T.I. a biology lesson by laying out the intimate details of what a hymen is and how it can open.
They explained other activities aside from sex can change the hymen including riding a bike or doing sports.
Planned Parenthood tweeted: “The hymen is a thin, fleshy tissue that’s located at the opening of your vagina. Like other parts of our bodies, hymens are a little different for everyone.
“Many people think the hymen totally covers the opening of your vagina until it’s stretched open, but that’s not usually the case. Most hymens naturally have a hole big enough for period blood to come out and for you to use tampons comfortably.
“Some people just naturally have hymens that are more open. And many other activities beside sex can stretch your hymen — like riding a bike, doing sports, or putting something in your vagina (like a tampon or finger). Once your hymen is stretched open, it can’t grow back.
“Some people think you can tell if someone’s had sex before if their hymen is stretched open. But that’s not the case.”
The outcry was sparked after T.I. admitted to taking annual trips to the doctors to check if his daughter is still a virgin.
