A young man, believed to be in his thirties, has been lynched by angry residents at Kasoa Akweley in the Central region after he stabbed a food seller in an attempt to rob her.
The sad incident occurred around 4:30am on Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Martha Owusu, in an interview with Adom News, narrated her ordeal:

“He attacked me and began hitting me with a stick and scissors while demanding for money. I resisted and started screaming for help. I have sustained several wounds on my left hand.”

Meanwhile, the Ofaakor police patrol team has conveyed the body to the morgue.

The Odupong Ofaakor District Police Commander, DSP Christopher Darkey, following concerns of insecurity raised by residents in the area, assured them of utmost protection.
