Two suspected armed robbers have been arrested by the Sawla police for their alleged involvement in a robbery at Yepala on the Sawla -Wa highway in the Savannah region.
The two suspects, identified as Yakubu Haruna, 24, and Seidu Haruna, 18, currently in police custody were apprehended by the residents who later handed them over to the police for further investigation.

Information gathered by Adom News from the police suggested that the suspects robbed the driver of a Guinness distribution Kia Rhino vehicle with registration number AS 4014-16 who was travelling from Tuna to Wa.
The robbers in their operation made away with his mobile phone and an amount of money.
The police added that a bag containing clothes, black canvas, face mask and a motorbike were retrieved from the suspects at the time of the arrest.
