Ghana’s favourite entertainment channel, Joy Prime embarked on the 2nd edition of their annual health walk dubbed ‘Race 4 Heart’ last weekend.
The health programme is to educate Ghanaians on keeping a healthy heart while keeping fit. Celebrities and media personalities across Ghana also joined the walk.
Joy Prime with the support of National Cardio Thoracic Centre, Islamic Medical Association of Ghana and the Ghana Health Service offered free heart screening to all participants.

The programme was on the theme: “Take care of your heart for that special one”.
It is Joy Prime’s initiative to create awareness, of heart-related diseases, raise a healthy nation through exercising and participation in healthy living and to have a healthy heart for that special someone.
Some celebrities present at the walk were Okyeame Kwame, DKB, Ded Body, Tina Green, Akuma Mama Zimbi, Tima Kumkum, Lexis Bill, George Addo Junior, KMJ, IB, Miss Universe Ghana, 2018 Akpene Diaki Hogger and many more.
Also in attendance were Multimedia Group Managing Director, Santokh Singh, General Manager of Multi TV & Adom Brands, Abdulai Awudu and the Channels Manager for Joy Prime, Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong.
Participants were given prizes and souvenir from sponsors.
