Hundreds of people have been rendered homeless in Osenase in the Lower West Akyem Municipality in the Eastern Region following a rainstorm.

Properties amounting to thousands of Ghana cedis were destroyed and livestock killed as well.

About 50 households were also ripped off by the storm.

The affected buildings include the Presbyterian Primary and Roman Catholic Basic School in Osenase.

Sanahene of Odau Traditional Area, Nana Korankye Adade I who is also the Abusuapanyin of Osenase appealed to government to come to the aid of the people.
