The organization screened the children of malaria and hepatitis B.

According to the founder of CP Awareness-Ghana, Mr Boniface Kwaku Aberor who is a nurse by profession and also a member of Yali Rlc cohort 9, the plight of these children lie in the hands of their parents and strongly calls on the government to help support these children and their families.

He added that when government is committed at building a national cerebral palsy center to cater for these special children, it will help reduce the stigma and also prevent frustrated mothers from killing their children. He commended the owners of the two centers he visited with his team of health Care professionals for the great work they are doing and assured them of the full support of his foundation to them.

He again calls on the ministry of gender and social protection to implement policies to help support mothers and caregivers or these special mothers who have through their own resources established these homes.

In addition, he urges the ministry of Education to fast track the implantation of the inclusion education policy in Ghana. He urges benevolent organizations and civil society groups to shift their benevolence to Cerebral palsy centers and also support the activities of CP Awareness Ghana.
