Four people have been injured in Diisah, community in the North Gonja district of the Northern region Saturday night.
This was after some warrior from the Wasipi traditional area allegedly but down the entire community.
The clashes according to reports, was due to chieftaincy dispute between Gonjas and Tampulmas.
A resident Gumpila Muniru told Adom News warriors from Daboya invaded the community last night and perpetrated this crime.
He said they set the entire village ablaze and residents had to flee for their lives.
Adom News’ Illiasu Abdul Rauf who visited the area reported Diisah is now a ghost town.
He noted that, most residents have vowed not to return for fear of reprisal attacks.
Meanwhile security personnel have been deployed to the community to ensure peace.
