Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Citi FM, the Assistant Director of Operations of the Ghana Nation Fire Service, Joseph Kofi Forson said the fire was brought under control in due time.

“We used about five water pumps, three firefighting appliances and two water tankers as we tried to prevent fire from spreading to other areas because there was a fuel station nearby which could have made it worse,” he said.
