Eyewitnesses said the fire had ravaged the whole enterprise before firefighters arrived from Kade and Asamankese.
“We all saw the fire but we couldn’t do anything about it so we called the fire service people from Kade but they run out of water shortly after arriving and by that time another tender came from Asamankese to help, it was too late to salvage anything.
“Almost everything is destroyed running into millions of cedis. it’s a very sad situation,” an eyewitness said.
They appealed to the government to get them a fire tender to help the district tackle fire issues on time.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
