The New Patriotic Party Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Nenyi George Andah has paid a working visit to some centres, where the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is taking place to encourage the students to excel.
He was Accompanied by officials of the Awutu Senya West District Education Directorate.
The MP for the area who is also the deputy minister of communications commended the teachers and parents for preparing the students, and invigilators for the smooth conduct of the examination so far.
“Earlier this morning, the team and I visited four BECE examination centers in Awutu Senya West to observe the second day of the BECE Examinations. We met the Student in high optimism and great cheer,” Hon. George Andah said in a message he posted on his official Facebook account.
“In Awutu Senya West, the absentees were mainly from families who had relocated and thus transfers secured, and one student who had unfortunately passed away,” he added.
According to him, four pregnant female students were part of those who were writing the examinations.
“I encouraged them to aim for success and stay focused, as I wished them luck,” Hon. George Andah said.
