The Northern Regional office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has seen a total transformation after Adom News had reported on its poor state.
Adom News reported in August 2017 that snakes had invaded the regional office, leaving staff in fear.
The staff complained of insects and other wild reptiles which had made the facility their home.
The report revealed how the dilapidated nature of the offices was making working at the facility very difficult and general life uncomfortable.

But a recent visit to the place after a year of those reports paints a different picture and a marked improvement in the situation.
Staff at the regional office said work was being smooth as they no longer work in fear.

“Now, I can confidently direct someone to my office. Then, I couldn’t invite people over because I would be ridiculed if they see the deplorable office I was working in.”…she said excitedly.
Director General of NADMO, Nana Agyeman Prempeh, said this is just one of the many offices to be transformed to give a total facelift for the relief outfit.
