A ceremony to observe the one week of the passing of Martin Kwadwo Tweneboah, the Old Vandal who was allegedly stabbed to death by a colleague in the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana will be held tomorrow, 16th December, 2017.
The late Tweneboah, affectionately called Chief Tipsy was allegedly stabbed to death by one George Osei, during an argument in the Hall.
Chief Tipsy is said to have died at the Legon Hospital after sustaining multiple stab wounds.
Initial reports were that the suspect, George Osei was also a former student of the University of Ghana and a vandal for that matter. But the Old Vandals have disassociated themselves from the suspect.
The prime suspect has been remanded in police custody to reappear before the court on January 9, 2018.
The family of the late Chief Tipsy will hold a one week memorial for the stabbed former student of the Hall at Nsoatre in the Brong Ahafo Region.
He was 34 years old.
Some current and former students of the Hall, Old Vandals Association (OVA) are expected to attend the event.
