Philadelphia Church founder reveals how Bawumia surprised him when he lost his father

The Founder of Philadelphia Church of Yahweh, Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah, has shared a heartfelt story of how Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia surprised him with a generous gesture when he lost his father.

As part of his final campaign activities in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Bawumia visited the Philadelphia Church on Sunday, accompanied by his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh and other key members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah, welcoming Dr. Bawumia, praised the Vice President for his thoughtfulness and generosity, particularly highlighting the support he provided during the his father’s funeral.

“I saw a container arrive at the funeral, and I asked, ‘Where is this from?’ They told me it was from Vice President Bawumia to support the funeral,” Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah shared with the congregation.

“The container was opened, and everything was inside. I was so surprised that I asked, ‘Is this really from the Vice President?’ and they confirmed it was,” he added.

Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah expressed his deep gratitude, noting that he did not expect such a gesture at such a difficult time, and he was truly touched by Dr. Bawumia’s kindness.

After sharing this personal story, Pastor Adom Kyei-Duah, alongside thousands of his congregation members, led a powerful prayer session for Dr. Bawumia, seeking God’s favor for his success in the upcoming elections.
