Peter Kwakye forged signatures in the NDC primaries – Mustapha Gbande alleges

The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has accused Amenfi Central Member of Parliament, Peter Kwakye Ackah, of forging signatures during the NDC primaries.

This accusation follows Ackah’s announcement that he intends to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming December 7 general election after the Speaker of Parliament declared his parliamentary seat vacant.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Burning Issues, Mustapha Gbande revealed that “during the nomination process, the MP made several errors and was asked to correct them. Later, we discovered that he had forged signatures once again.”

“When we confronted him, he demanded that his opponent be declared unopposed, only to challenge her later. Despite this, we showed leniency and did not expel him from the party.”

The Deputy General Secretary stressed that the NDC will not support or welcome Ackah back into the party, even if he wins the seat in future elections.

“Peter Kwakye Ackah will never be accepted back into the NDC, regardless of election results. His return would only be possible in our absence, and the party will provide him with no support,” he said.
