Suspended National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has eulogized late Asempa FM presenter, Kwadwo Asare Baffuor Acheampong (KABA) describing him as a forthright person.
Paul Afoko who is still in shock called on Ghanaians to pray for the soul of the ace broadcaster for an eternal rest.
He made the comment on Adom FM when he together with Andrew Awuni, former spokesperson of ex-President John Agyekum Kufuor and Trade Minister, Alan Kyerematen commiserated with the Multimedia Group Limited Wednesday.
He extolled the late host of popular afternoon political talk show, Ekosii Sen on Asempa FM, for hi professional and objective handling of the programme.
Paul Afoko said KABA’s sudden demise is a big blow to the media fraternity because it will be very difficult for him to be replaced.
He however, encouraged family, management and staff of Multimedia to be strong in such a difficult time.
Mr. Afoko pledged their support for the funeral arrangements to ensure the late broadcaster is given a befitting burial.
Also, Mr. Andrew Awuni said KABA has left a huge vacuum in his heart because he was his companion.
“KABA was a very good friend; we eat together and share ideas so his death is a big blow” he added.
Meanwhile, Management announced to the delegation that, a ceremony to observe the one week of KABA’s passing on Saturday, November 25 at the premises of The Multimedia Group, Kokomemle, Accra, where the family will put out dates for the funeral and burial activities.
