A meeting has taken place between musician Patapaa’s father, Mr Kwesi Amoah, and his manager, Gershon Mortey to amicably resolve the recent confusion between the two parties.
Confusion erupted when Mr Mortey took to Facebook to complain that “he was being paid back with evil” after working hard to put the “One Corner” hitmaker in the limelight.
The post also accused Patapaa’s Road Manager, Freebody of being responsible for the happenings at the Pa2pa man’s camp.
Since that post, a number of backroom wranglings have gone on in the Pa2pa camp between the artiste manager and the musician.
But in the meeting called at the instance of Patapaa’s father in Accra at which Freebody was present, the two parties committed to smoking the peace pipe.

Gershon’s statement had attracted a lot of backlash from people who believe what he wrote was not right.
Fans of Patapaa interpreted the post to mean a form of hype for the Manager himself and a way to dent the image of the vibrant Patapaa who has worked hard to hit the limelight.
Gershon Mortey’s resignation, if true, makes it two resignations in a roll for Patapaa Amisty, whose first manager, Godfred Bokpin also resigned under similar circumstances.
But in the meeting today at Kokomlemle in Accra, Patapaa’s dad, Mr Amoah registered his displeasure towards Gershon’s resignation.

Inside sources at the meeting say Patapaa’s father was not happy with the recent confusion, especially looking at the help the manager Mr Mortey has given his son.
He, therefore, urged every team member to bury the hatchet for the Pa2Pa brand to solidify again.
For now, adomonline.com can confirm that peace has started brewing in the Patapaa camp again.
The latest development also means that the much-anticipated December 7 release promised by Gershon Mortey may no longer come on.
