Lands and Forestry Committee Chairman of Parliament, Francis Manu-Adabor, has assured that the Boundary Commission Act will soon be passed by Parliament to enhance the safeguarding of Ghana’s boundaries.

He gave this assurance at the annual conference of land surveyors held in the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.

Mr. Manu-Adabor also urged land surveyors to leverage Geospatial Artificial Intelligence for real-time data analysis and monitoring, enhancing precision in land surveying.

The President of the Ghana Institute of Surveyors, Dr. Anthony Arko-Adjei, highlighted that the convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Geospatial technologies holds the potential to unlock unprecedented insights, drive innovation, and address some of the most pressing global challenges.

He called on members to remain committed to excellence, integrity, and public trust.

The theme for the conference was: Revolutionizing Land Surveying: Unleashing the Power of Geospatial Artificial Intelligence and Modern Techniques.
