Importers and freight forwarders is still going through frustration as the paperless system has filed to work as promised after one week.
The new system which was promised to ease clearing process to at least 4 hours have seen some agents spending more days to clear their goods.
Following protest by some freight forwarders Thursday, the system according to them is still worrying.
Chairman of the concerned freight forwarders, Oheneba Kwesi Afawuah lamented that authorities at the port must work swiftly to resolve the problems.
But Deputy Finance Minister, Kwaku Kwarteng says the web-based platform being used to undertake paperless clearing system has been re-programmed.
He also disclosed that the Ministry is in talks with the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority and managers of the shipping lines so that the charges that have accrued as a result of delays by the system will be waived.
