At a special meeting with former President John Dramani Mahama, members of the clergy, including Prophet Owusu Bempah and Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, offered fervent prayers for his success ahead of the December elections.
The event, held to seek divine guidance for Mahama, saw notable spiritual leaders from various denominations joining hands in prayer.
Prophet Owusu Bempah prayed for Mahama’s leadership, invoking God’s will in determining the country’s future.
“It is through him the country will move forward… It is today that you have said… you have put him on the throne… in Jesus’ name, amen”, he declared, asking for divine favour in Mahama’s journey.
Meanwhile, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah delivered a powerful prophetic prayer, proclaiming that Mahama’s time had come.
Rev. Korankye Ankrah continued with a declaration of protection for Mahama, stating, “Whom God has blessed, no one can curse. The pit they have dug, they will fall into it… every serpent against the voice of God we condemn. With grace, Lord guide his footsteps and take him to the breadth and length of this country. The purpose of God shall be established, and his enemies scattered.”
The gathering also featured prayers from Assemblies of God clergymen and other pastors, all in solidarity with Mahama as he prepares for the upcoming elections.
The clergy’s prayers emphasized the belief in divine favour and protection for Mahama as he seeks the nation’s highest office once again.
