The Minister for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured that the outcomes of the 2025 National Economic Dialogue will be incorporated into the forthcoming national budget.
He emphasized that discussions at the dialogue will play a significant role in shaping policies aimed at revitalizing Ghana’s economy and fostering long-term growth.
In a Facebook post on Monday, March 3, Dr. Forson described the dialogue as a historic moment for the nation and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to engaging stakeholders in finding lasting solutions to the country’s economic challenges.
“I am excited that the historic National Economic Dialogue 2025 is starting this morning. Its outcomes will find clear expression in the upcoming national budget, which will be read on March 11, 2025, as we work together to reset Ghana’s economy and drive sustainable growth,” he wrote.
The National Economic Dialogue is expected to bring together policymakers, economists, business leaders, and civil society organizations to deliberate on key economic strategies.
With the minister’s assurance, there is growing anticipation that the 2025 budget will reflect concrete measures derived from the dialogue to ensure economic stability and progress.
